My Small Businesses
Living with a chronic illness has brought its challenges, but it has also taught me the value of wellness. My desire to overcome my health limitations, work more flexibly and be inspired by the importance of a balanced lifestyle has inspired me to setup my own businesses.
I have initiated and launched three of my own businesses that explore areas of overlapping interest; Wellbeing, Creativity and Community.
Head & Hands was founded on the art of slowing down.
A carefully curated store centred around self-care and slow living, it supports small independent makers and artists. Stocking a range of goods and gifts, from ceramics to incense, homeware to skincare, everything made by hand and with good intentions.
Holdspace
A multi-functional hire space in Angel Islington. It promotes wellbeing and creativity and welcomes likeminded teachers, artists and facilitators to contribute to a diverse programme of activity. It can be used for floor-based hires such as yoga, movement classes such as dance and can also provide tables and chairs set up for meetings or workshops. See more here.
Slow Down Club
Slow Down Club is about crafting tools, resources, and reminders to be present and slow down.
Slow Down Club was created as a counter to hustle-culture and productivity guilt, believing firmly in the importance of mental well-being and nature connection.
Our beautiful range of scented candles, incense and aroma diffusers are all inspired by natureβs wisdom and seasonal changes.
The brand also creates accessible resources such as Spotify playlists, to complement any mood or feeling and during the Covid-19 pandemic, we also designed a Daily Habits planner, which really helped us focus our days and make time rest.
Our products can be found in-store at The Every Space gifts and homewares
