Bygrove School - Year 2 animation

This project was for the school's  'Creativity Week' - a chance for student teachers to bring a new teaching style into the classroom. I was commissioned to work closely with the trainee teachers, showing them how they can use stop-motion animation into their English lessons.

The teachers then worked with the classes to produce props and storyboards in response to the 'Traction Man' graphic novel. We then came together for an intensive day of shooting animation in groups - to produce a fantastic final film.

The children learned about the importance of storyboarding, planning, continuity, set design and working in a team.

Project completed whilst working at make:good and commissioned by Bow Arts for Bygrove Primary School.
