House of Illustration - Families workshop

I was invited by House of Illustration to devise and deliver a families workshop inspired by the exhibition of illustrator Jaqueline Ayers work.

Attendees drew on places and memories important to them, by tracing outlines from photographs and inventing their own innovative drawing tools, exploring the freedom of mark-making,

They each created their own illustration capturing a moment in time, inspired by Ayer's beautiful picture books depicting people and places.
